My aim is to produce and provide simple, functional and aesthetically pleasing pieces of equipment.
I looked at some of the currently available (and expensive) items and came to a few conclusions...
Big bulky things are difficult to slip into your pocket or bag, multiple super-bright leds turn an investigation into a disco and the home-made look is fine if you've made it yourself.
Does a rem pod really need more than one alert led? Would you ignore it if only one of the four lit up? Of course not, so why have so many...
Does an SLS camera have to look like some form of robotic creation? Ok, we all know what they're made from, but if you're paying for something then you deserve to have it looking worth what you paid.
